LIONHEART born on 1997 with its first Maine Coon cat's Ector Real Coon, a Silver tabby Mackerel with White male that we nicknamed "Big Cat". In fact, his size is very tall and slender proportions good,  he has an important role in our family (we prefer this term rather than cattery, as there are no cages and our cats living in total freedom).

Then came Fada Mediolanum, a Black Tortie female to revive the environment, as this type of color is very difficult to appreciate. Fada is not even a giant part of a breed known worldwide as one of the largest, but instead gives birth to healthy and strong kittens in a wide variety of colors.

In 2000 came the real earthquake, home, Lionheartcoon Iena Plissken (a name of a guarantee), a Red Silver tabby Mackerel with White male. Born from Ector and Fada is a specimen with a distinct personality, with a considerable size (during the winter months reaches 10 kg) and a very plentifully coat.

First cat imported from the USA was Williwplace Silver Dream, Silver Torbie tabby Classic with White female. Away from the state of South Carolina was our first step closer to a standard American type. In 2002 was among us Rowanridge Black Magic, a Black Solid female against any luck that has brought great fortune in our lives, she comes from the British Columbia the western part of Canada, has a very sweet character and is a great talker , her body is massive with a head like a true Maine Coon and plentifully linx tips above the ears.

Born from us is Lionheartcoon Wild Spirit,  Squamy for friends, another Silver Torbie tabby Classic with White female. Squamy is extremely sweet, follow us at every step and constantly wants to be picked up. Excellent standard, her major strengths are definitely the size and shape of the ears with the exceptional linx tips

After few years off in 2005 adds to our family Wistariantale Paper Moon, a Brown Torbie tabby Classic female, a cat from an enviable quiet and affectionate nature, in fact there is no person from whom she does not cherish. Mother of excellence, the kittens are of different colors with a great temperament. A worthy heir of Ector and Iena has for some time Wistariantale Roman Empire for friends simply Pencil, our Red tabby Classic male, his structure is really shocking with a long body and high legs. Wonder all those who see him for the first time, even during the exhibition judges are always impressed by his size.

Heir of Silver and Spirit and is also Lionheartcoon Sally, a Brown Torbie tabby Mackerel with White female. Is a cat with a distinct personality and may not be the other, because is the daughter of Iena, does not like the restrictions, but is very sweet with people and is always the first run to greet the visitors. For sure the best qualities are his excellent profile and plentifully coat with wonderful and lighting colors.

Humans of LIONHEART are Roberto, Samantha and Elisa a quiet Italian family. We started with a passion and a love of cats many years ago, then we said "Let's see if we can improve, " and so it was, we started going cat shows making a personal idea of the type of cat we wanted, directing to standard most Americans then Europeans, but it is not so easy. We are located in northern Italy, in a small village surrounded by countryside in the province of Novara, where peace and tranquility reign throughout the year.

We breed with passion and love, always trying to improve the quality in both type and character, we are very careful feeding of our cats using high-quality food. With regard to the health of our adults are tested against Fel-V, FIV, we perform ultrasound against HMC hypertrophic cardio myopathy and PKD polycystic kidney disease and genetic testing for HCM  hypertrophic cardio myopathy, PKD polycystic kidney disease, SMA Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
